This masterclass considers the different projects we may lead within our role, and explores the tools and techniques available to us to ensure a successful outcome.
Management and Leadership roles involve regular review, development and improvement. Yet how often do we regard these important changes as projects, giving them the vital planning, implementation and review to ensure ongoing success? This masterclass investigates the importance of effective project planning and management and how managing and leading projects differs from the ‘day job’.
Managing projects effectively is an essential skill for school business professionals and, indeed, anyone with a management or leadership role. School projects may range from a classroom refurbishment, to standardising ordering procedures, to setting up a new recruitment strategy, to introducing a new MIS, and far more besides. Projects can, inevitably, be onerous and time consuming, and we must somehow fit them in alongside all the other plates we spin!
This lively half day masterclass will introduce you to some of the key project management skills, tools and techniques, designed to help you manage school based projects more effectively, efficiently and successfully.
