This practical training provides essential guidance and valuable information to support the effective and efficient management of school premises. The course will provide practical insights into how to run an effective school site and is ideal for anyone who has responsibility for school facilities, be it as a new career or for anyone who has been in the role for years.
As it considers the day-to-day operational challenges (whilst maintaining statutory compliance and health and safety management), this training also provides tips and tricks to make your life easier and more efficient whilst ensuring you are able to provide a top-class service to all premise users, both during the school day and beyond.
The course adopts a no-frills approach to health and safety compliance, what is really needed and how to audit and check processes and procedures. It then looks at improving school operations and procedures, the wider implications of site security, safeguarding, contractor commissioning and personal development.
This Masterclass will enable you to:
Discuss and develop the complexities and scope of the role
Confidently manage legislative compliance
Understand simple health and safety responsibilities
Link site management to safeguarding
Effectively work with contractors on site
