This masterclass will provide practical strategies and evidence-based insights to improve the attendance of pupils in receipt of pupil premium.

This masterclass will provide a comprehensive overview of the challenges and opportunities related to improving attendance for pupils in receipt of pupil premium. It will explore the complex factors that can contribute to low attendance among disadvantaged pupils, including socioeconomic factors, health and well-being concerns, and academic support needs.

The masterclass will also delve into the impact of disadvantage on attendance patterns and discuss the importance of creating a supportive school environment that values diversity and addresses the needs of all pupils.

Through interactive discussions and case studies, participants will gain practical strategies and evidence based insights to improve attendance, focusing on effective communication with families, targeted interventions, and building strong partnerships with external agencies.

The masterclass will also address the importance of data-driven decision-making and provide guidance on monitoring attendance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Headteachers, academy principals, senior leaders, pastoral leaders, teachers, and other school staff responsible for supporting pupils in receipt of pupil premium.
