School Partnerships & Community Engagement: Cultivate Cultural Capital, Build School Culture

This course will broaden your perspective on how exposure can enhance ambition and aspiration. It offers insights into creating effective partnerships and engaging with the community to develop well-rounded individuals who contribute to local and global communities.

You will explore strategies for integrating citizenship, character education, and cultural capital into the curriculum, regardless of your school’s context. The course provides practical ideas for refining your approach to community engagement and partnership development, helping you present clear objectives to organisations, especially during times of crisis.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This course is for school leaders (teaching and non-teaching) with responsibilities in areas that focus on developing your school culture and pupil’s cultural capital through engagement with the local community or building partnerships with external organisations.

FACILITATOR
David Gacheru has over 15 years of experience in pastoral leadership, during which he has successfully created, developed, and sustained comprehensive school-wide pastoral systems. His work has been instrumental in shaping positive school cultures that enhance pupil outcomes and broaden opportunities for students.
